Nick Jordan 2017-2018 Montecito High School AND RUSD Teacher of the Year
Montecito High is very proud to have Nick Jordan as their “Teacher of the Year.” Nick is an excellent role model for his construction students. In his classes the students learn more than just “construction”. The students see many of their projects throughout the community, and are proud members of a school that provides them these opportunities. For many of Nick’s students, he is a “father” figure, and a mentor. After school hours many students drop in to visit and seek advice or just a listening ear. Nick has instilled in his students respect and hard work, which in the end returns to him by their keeping in touch with him and through their efforts with projects and competitions.
When students from past years continue to send pictures and emails of their accomplishments, nothing is a grander compliment to a dedicated and caring educator. |
